DANCE MOVEMENT

Dance Movement is a course from the offer of the regular program of the School of Natural Movement and Dance of Marija Šćekić, which is held in Zadar, at the address Ivana Zajca 2.

The aim of the course is to upgrade and learn more dynamic dance sequences of natural movement whose principles are processed and learned in the trainings of Marija Šćekić. The dance movement improves the already acquired coordination, strength, mobility and flexibility of the body and further develops the body's memory and general coping in space. Through dance sequences, participants get acquainted with the stylistic expression of contemporary dance as well as the basic principles of locomotor. The course provides participants with the opportunity to enrich their natural vocabulary and develop their personal stage-dance expression.

The student may or may not have dancing experience, but prior enrollment in Natural Movement 1 or 2 is recommended as this course builds on and complements the principles and techniques of movement that are covered in the course Natural Movement led by Marija Šćekić.
